Holomontas Mountain

Holomontas is a mountain of beautiful landscapes, thick forests and picturesque villages which, in contrast to the coastline, are not flooded by tourists. Here you can enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature and taste traditional delicacies in the local tavernas.

Kavourotrypes

This is probably the most exotic beach of the second leg of Chalkidiki, with white sand and turquoise waters. The trademark of this place is a huge mermaid that has been carved on a rock by an anonymous artist.

Kalamitsi

This is a wonderful, sandy cove in front of a seaside resort, with sunbeds and umbrellas, a couple of bars, taverns, grocery stores, car rentals, camping and a few hotels. Behind the rocks at the end of the beach, there is a smaller cove, usually preferred by nudists.

Armenistis

This is a long and wide beach with an organized camping. It is a favorite destination, especially for young people. In the area you will also find restaurants, cafeterias, bars, grocery stores etc.

Arnaia

Arnaia is one of the most picturesque villages of northern mountainous Chalkidiki, built at an altitude of 600 m. at the foot of Holomontas Mountain. Due to its aesthetic and environmental value, Arnaia has been declared a “Historical Site” and “Traditional Settlement” by the Ministry of Culture.

Barbara

This is a mountain village of Chalkidiki, built between Drevenikos and Sougkliani mountains, at an altitude of 540m. The picturesque village with cobblestoned streets, beautiful neighborhoods and stone houses is also known for its annual festival that takes place every summer in the courtyard of the elementary school and attracts many visitors. Around the village there is the forest of Kipouristra, surrounded by chestnut trees and beech trees. There are two waterfalls in the area, too.
