North from Pori beach, you will find Ksylompatis bay and the two impressive caves. The first is oblong and airy while the second one has a small beach inside and is ideal for relaxation.
You can go there by car, following the road that connects Pori with the port. There is a parking space in Pori. Also, you can go there on foot or by bike, following the trail along the southern coastline of the island. Alternatively, you can swim from Pori or take the boat.

Shortly after Pori Beach, there is a path leading to Gala. This is a tiny beach which goes all the way beneath the rock and creates a natural pool. It was named Gala (meaning “milk” in Greek) because the waters are white due to the dust which falls from the surrounding rocks.

This is the beach of Chora, one of the largest of the island, right next to the port. It has a beautiful sandy coastline with shallow turquoise waters. There are quite a few shops in the area, too. This beach is called “Italian” due to the nickname of the owner of the house that is located just behind the beach. Although it is not a very big beach, it is very beautiful with golden sand and clear water and a small cove which offers isolation and tranquility.

This is one of the most famous beaches of the Cyclades. It has white sand and beautiful emerald waters. It is particularly popular with surfers, sand artists, and in general those who love nature. The 1st Primary School of Koropi was constructed in the early 19th century (around 1903). It was an elementary school with six rooms and six teachers who provided “elementary education" as requested by the Minister of Ecclesiastical Affairs and Public Education, G. Theotokis, back in 1889. The school was built based on the designs of D. Kallias. He had also designed four other schools and his plans were accepted on April 10, 1898 by A. Rallis, the Minister of Education back then.
