Located east of the port of Agios Nikolaos, Roukounas beach is considered the biggest sandy beach of the Aegean Sea. A traditional tavern can be found there, as well.

The place is ideal for those who love diving. The beach is not organized so it is useful to equip oneself with the necessities.

This is the most famous beach of Kythnos. A strip of land separates the sea creating two beautiful beaches on the same seashore. The windless bays are a favorite anchoring spot for yachts and sailboats. It is located in the Western part of the island and is also accessible by a water taxi.
